The opportunity

ENAPI is the infrastructure layer powering the €150 billion EV charging industry. We are laser-focused on one thing: running a high performance cloud platform connecting charge points and EV drivers. Our platform is growing fast, enabling 500,000+ charge points across Europe and handling hundreds of thousands of sessions per month, with 20ms latency and a team of fewer than 10 engineers. As our load is set to grow 10-100× over the next 18 months, we’re scaling fast while staying lean. We’re backed by €10M from Voyager, Project A, Seedcamp.

The role

This role is about owning the architecture, building where it matters most, and leading a team of top engineers to keep ENAPI the fastest, most reliable, and most scalable platform in the market. Lean, fast, high-ownership engineering culture. Early team means outsized technical and industry impact.

The mandate

• 60% IC: design, code, profile, scale, own critical paths, ship real systems under load
• 40% leadership: set technical direction, review designs, unblock engineers, coach a team that already moves fast and wants to move faster
• Lead by building, unblock by shipping

The work

• Real-time connectivity APIs, reconciliation engines, financial clearing, protocol normalization
• End-to-end performance: keep <20 ms latency while scaling 10–100×
• Zero-loss, accurate financial reconciliation across 500k+ distributed endpoints
• Reliability at scale: real-time monitoring, resilient design, zero margin for error
