Company: ENAPI
Location: Berlin or Remote (CET)
Role Type: Full-time, IC Track
Compensation: Competitive base + meaningful equity
ENAPI is the infrastructure layer powering the €150 billion EV charging industry. We are laser-focused on one thing: running a high performance cloud platform connecting charge points and EV drivers. Our platform is growing fast, enabling 500,000+ charge points across Europe and handling hundreds of thousands of sessions per month, with 20ms latency and a team of fewer than 10 engineers. As our load is set to grow 10-100× over the next 18 months, we’re scaling fast while staying lean. We’re backed by €10M from Voyager, Project A, Seedcamp.
This role is about owning features end-to-end, shipping code that processes real money, and building systems that scale ahead of demand. Lean, fast, high-ownership engineering culture. Early team means outsized technical and industry impact.
Own problems end-to-end. Ship features from React component to Go service to database migration. Move across the stack without friction. Solve problems from first principles, not tickets.
Go, Kotlin, React/Next.js, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, real-time event pipelines, distributed data stores, full-stack observability.
You've built production systems across the stack. You're not an expert at everything, but you're effective at most things. You move between frontend, backend, and infrastructure with ease. TypeScript, Kotlin, SQL, AWS: you've shipped with all of them. You care about user experience as much as query execution plans. You know a 200ms loading state matters. You write clean, well-tested code. You thrive with autonomy: you need a problem to solve, not a detailed ticket. You ask good questions and push back when something doesn't make sense. Remote-first feels natural. You communicate clearly, proactively, stay CET-aligned. Bonus: FinTech/EV charging experience.
